Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ's

This Members FAQ section is designed to give current and prospective Football Coaches Australia (FCA) members clear answers to the questions we are asked most often. Here you will find practical information on membership categories, benefits, fees, renewals, governance, and how FCA supports your legal, professional development, and wellbeing needs. 

Is FCA a non-profit organisation? FCA is non-profit and all funds must be used to support its objectives. 
Can I transfer my membership to someone else?

No. Membership rights and benefits are not transferable

Do members have voting rights? Yes - each member has one vote at general meetings, provided all fees are paid. 
How can my membership end?

Your membership may cease if you:

  • Resign / Cancel
  • Fail to pay fees within 3 months
  • No longer meet eligibility requirements
  • Are expelled following disciplinary action
What's our refund policy?

Football Coaches Australia (FCA) membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed. This includes annual membership subscriptions.

Membership provides immediate access to FCA services, resources, and benefits. As such, refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind
  • Partial use of membership benefits
  • Failure to utilise membership services

In exceptional circumstances, the FCA Committee may, at its sole discretion, consider requests for a partial or full refund. Any such requests must be submitted in writing to the association for review.

Please note that membership will cease if fees remain unpaid in accordance with the FCA Constitution.

Can I change my membership category? In the event of a mistake or change in circumstances, FCA will work with you to ensure your membership is accurately classified as either Professional or Community.
